It all started with an advent calendar.
Nova Quartz started off as an Etsy store stocking tumbled crystals. For Christmas I really wanted to create an advent calendar with a beautiful selection of crystals but I couldn’t find the right advent calendars anywhere so I made them. Yep every single box was cut, glued and numbered with my very own hands (and some help from family of course). Without expecting it we had 2 tiktoks that went ‘viral’ of the advent calendars (totalling over 3million views between the 2) which I still will never wrap my head around. I am so grateful for every single customer I have and can’t wait to continue my journey with you guys! Thanks for being here :)
At Nova Quartz we pride ourselves in being as ethical and environmentally conscious as possible. We work only with suppliers that can ensure (with their own eyes) ethical standards are met throughout their supply chain. Where possible we try to use family mines to source our crystals.
In terms of environment we do everything we physically can to minimise our environmental footprint. Our packaging is 100% plastic free (technically not our ribbon as it is made from recycled plastic bottles) and everything is either recycled, recyclable or compostable. At Nova Quartz we believe when it comes to crystals you shouldn’t have to compromise, whether it be quality, ethics or environment.
